Ray McGee has been consistently lighting up stages playing keys in some of the most iconic nightclubs and theaters in the world for nearly 4 decades. His passion for music, and more so for the people who make it, has earned him spots on the stage with some of the best entertainers in the business.
He has opened shows for national acts such as Hall & Oates, Willie Nelson, Foghat, Waylon Jennings, Keith Urban, Trish Yearwood, LA Gunns, Krokus and the Little River Band. He has shared the stage with Rob Halford of Judas Priest, Janie Lane of Warrant, Bobby Blotzer of Ratt, Roxy Petrucci of Vixen, Wild Mick Brown of Dokken, Brad Gillis of Night Ranger, Paulie Shore (yes, THAT Paulie Shore), Paul Gilbert of Mr. Bigg, Joey Fatone of NSYNC, and Sebastian Bach of Skid Row.
In September 2000, he traveled to Australia to perform nearly a month of shows for the SYDNEY SUMMER OLYMPICS 2000. His permanent gigs have included holding down the keys and touring with New York metal gods, KAISER, playing piano at Mr. Lucky’s in Phoenix AZ for legendary country singer, club owner and showman, J. DAVID SLOAN, and an astonishing 24 year run heading up the incredibly entertaining piano show at WALT DISNEY WORLD’s iconic night spot, JELLYROLLS.
He now performs extensively in Orlando, Florida, Disney Springs, travels the country with The Strolling Piano, and is a guest entertainer aboard the Disney Wonder cruise ship sailing through Alaska.
